Rhythms of Grace Year 2 and Year 3 Worship Plans
We wanted to make our worship plans available to any people who would like them. Year 1 was published by Church Publishing so you will have to purchase but we have decided to make Rhythms of Grace year worship experiences available online at no cost to Parishes. Below is the download for you to use. You have our permission to make as many copies of this as you need.

Lesson Plan for March Yr. 1 "Stilling of the Storm" (March 2013)
The blindfold maze was substituted with the three figures of Jesus in the story telling with "Be still and know that I am God" from Psalm 46 on the back. The children colored and put on craft sticks. One parent wrote, "I don't remember Emily ever loving an activity as much as she does Rhythms of Grace. She had to sleep with her Jesus person so she wouldn't have nightmares."

December 2014 Note-

We just had our December service.
Our most dedicated kid LOVES the Year 1 "unwrapping the Nativity" story, so we went with that.
We did come up with some different supporting
activities that all of the families like as well,
so I thought I would pass them along.

Our most dedicated kid LOVES the Year 1 "unwrapping the Nativity" story, so we went with that.
We did come up with some different supporting
activities that all of the families like as well,
so I thought I would pass them along.
1. Instead of pine cone toss we had a snowball toss. We had large white pompoms, small white ping pong balls, and different sizes of Styrofoam balls. Our teenage helpers liked this activity too.
2. We used craft sticks and the families made a Mary (with a girl craft stick), Joseph (with a bot craft stick) and baby Jesus (clothespin) to take home and retell the story. We used markers, felt and strips of a pillow case (picture mjj.jpg)
3. We talked about a stable, what animals may have been in the stable with Jesus and did an animal sort.
4. We also made a silver Christmas bell out of a silver cup, silver pipe cleaner, and silver bell.
Wishing you a blessed and merry Christmas.
